California Cannabis Legalization for Adult Use Leads to Record Month for Advantis Corp.

Newport Beach, CA - (NewMediaWire) - January 16, 2018 - ADVANTIS CORPORATION (OTC PINK: ADVT) announced that it is filling a record number of Amster-Can orders as a direct result of the legal cannabis law going into effect this month in California. The packaging laws that the recreational cannabis industry must follow requires child-proof lids along with specific package and labeling requirements. Advantis has tailored the Amster-Can product to adhere with all requirements of the law, and the recreational marketplace is already responding with, “a massive influx of orders,” according to Advantis CEO, Darren Cherry.

“In California, the 6th largest economy in the world, the cannabis market alone is projected to bring in over $6 billion a year,” Cherry explained. “We have positioned our company and brand perfectly over the past year, and we are the preeminent supplier of packaging solutions in this state, becoming that in Oregon, and now on our way in Nevada.” Cherry says he has stepped up marketing efforts and expansion plans since he came on board in September. “With Oregon ramped up to full production, Nevada ramping up, and the orders for the recreational and medical markets here in California, we are set for a record month of Amster-Can production,” Cherry said. “This is an immediate reaction to the law, and I foresee this sustained growth trend continuing for the foreseeable future.”  Last month, Cherry stated that he projects record revenue in every quarter of 2018.

The packaging and labeling laws contained within the California law provide Advantis with a significant market and brand advantage. Recreational purveyors are moving to supply pre-packaged products, as opposed to the standard non-child proof medicine containers that medicinal users have been used to. Amster-Can adheres to state labeling laws, while allowing for branding and marketing opportunities; it also provides the child-proof lids. “Through Speedweed initially and later through sustained marketing efforts, we have developed a trusted brand name that growers and dispensary owners have come to recognize,” Cherry says. “Now we have can size options, optional see-through packaging, the child-proof lids, and additional packaging options coming in the future. I feel confident that we will continue to scale this business as we become the primary cannabis packager for the state of California.” Cherry added that additional opportunities arise to provide Amster-Can branded proprietary and non-proprietary products through their new clients and partners, and the option to pay with Bitcoin has become attractive to some. “We are currently negotiating to be the exclusive packager for several large cultivation farms. I am so excited about what’s happening at Advantis, but even more so for what the future holds.”
