(NewMediaWire) - March 20, 2020 - Burbank, CA – The Martial Arts History Museum is proud to release its first teacher’s manual to accompany the children’s book, “The Adventures of Ichi & His Friends,” launched earlier this year. Entitled the “Workbook,” the manual will serve as a learning for students which is now available for sale on Amazon.com.

Created to reinforce the Ichi book experience, the Workbook is filled with puzzles, mazes, word games, pages for coloring, and drawing. Following the adventures of Ichi, Kekoa, Lalo, Shinji, and Sifu, children ages 8-12 years, the Workbook serves as a study guide to help children understand the meaning of the book.

“The Workbook can be used in two ways. One, give the Workbook directly to the children and have them complete the word puzzles,” says Michael Matsuda, author, and creator, “Or two, teachers can make copies of the pages in the Workbook and give those pages to the kids to fill out. The latter is more cost-effective and extends the life of the book.”

Although most of the Workbook can be completed even without reading the Ichi book, many of the puzzles relate specifically to the book. “In other words, if you haven’t read the book, it would be nearly impossible to complete. The Workbook reinforces the lessons taught throughout the book. There many questions that the children will need to re-read in the book to find the answers.”

“The Adventures of Ichi & His Friends” book, according to Matsuda, is a book about inspiration and reaching new goals. “It’s not just a story book, it is a book designed to stimulate conversation and discussion. It also provides an opportunity to understand the characters in a deeper level. Like Disney has its Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and so many wonderful characters that represent Disney, these characters represent the museum and getting to know them is important,” concludes Matsuda.

The cost of the book is extremely affordable, only $5, buying both the book, $10, and the Workbook is a wonderful investment for any child in class or at a dojo.
